Next Major Emoji Update Could Include a Pregnant Man

How far and insane our culture has fallen since I last blogged here.
I absolutely feel sorry for any graphic designer (assuming the designer is not a leftist who doesn’t support, agree with, or endorse identity politics) who was told to create what is presumably a “trans inclusive” emoji, meaning an emoji of a pregnant woman with a mustache:

A draft list of new emojis released by the Unicode Consortium also includes more gender-neutral options, a person biting their lip, some melting faces, hands making a heart shape, and someone who can hardly watch.

A text with this emoji could cause a pregnant pause.
This year’s batch of emoji finalists includes a knocked-up man, a disco ball and a melting smiley face, according to a report.
Several gender-inclusive and non-binary images — including one titled Pregnant Man — could be released for smartphone use in September, according to emojipedia.org.
One that looks fit for the Arnold Schwarzenegger flick “Junior” shows a mustachioed man clutching his baby bump and squinting.
It comes in medium to dark skin tones, along with a similar facial-hairless emoji, dubbed “Pregnant Person.”
Other new emojis include a biting lip, heart hands and a saluting face, according to the group, which announced the new designs ahead of World Emoji day on July 17.

The next major emoji update could include a pregnant man, according to a preview of the draft candidates for the next release.
The final list for the Emoji 14.0 update will get final approval in September 2021. The draft includes a pregnant man and pregnant “person,” which Emojipedia describes as “consistent gender options for pregnancy,” despite the fact that men, biologically, cannot become pregnant:

Pregnant Man and Pregnant Person are new, and recognize that pregnancy is possible for some transgender men and non-binary people. These are additions to the existing Pregnant Woman emoji.
The above additions will mean that nearly all emojis can have default a gender neutral option, with choice to use a woman or man where relevant. A few exceptions remain, which are being reviewed, as per this Unicode Emoji Subcommittee report from 2020.
….This would be far from the first time social issues influenced the world of emojis. In 2016, Apple announced its intention to replace the popular handgun emoji with a water gun, prompting swift praise from the New Yorkers Against Gun Violence.
The latest move coincides with the radical left’s push to erase the reality of biological sex, even promoting the idea on children’s shows.
Last year, Cartoon Network, a children’s TV network available to tens of millions of U.S. households, promoted radical gender ideology in a social media post, teaching children that are “many genders beyond ‘girl’ or ‘boy’” (view tweet)…
